INTRODUCTION
Our public schools are integral to the creation of a cohesive, respectful and understanding society in which we are all able to reach our full potential.
Kogarah High School strongly believes that this is best achieved in an environment where students, staff and other members of the community can operate in a context that is free of racism.
Unfortunately, racism continues to remain a problem in our society, including in schools.
These stories reveal some of the experiences of racism that our community has had and continues to have. They provide some insight into what racism is, its impact and ways to respond.
As a community we will stand together to create a stronger and more harmonious society.
